Job Title: Store Clerk
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: R6 500 Per Month
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng, 0001, South Africa

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Store Clerk to manage inventory, process sales, and assist customers in a retail setting. The ideal candidate will ensure shelves are stocked, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service to create a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:
Manage and restock inventory, ensuring shelves are consistently stocked and organized
Assist customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and purchases
Process sales transactions accurately at the point of sale, including handling cash and card payments
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and stockroom
Receive, unpack, and label new stock deliveries
Assist with setting up promotional displays and seasonal changes in the store
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management
Ensure compliance with store policies, including safety and security measures
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and improve overall efficiency

Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent education
Previous experience in retail or as a store clerk is an advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing stock
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
